The Belfast Mill Irish Pub is an authentic Irish style pub that serves up a great pint of Guinness as well as a variety of other Irish beers and traditional Irish cocktails in addition to a great selection of over 30 Irish whiskies. Whether it be a rousing games of darts, a spirited soccer match, or just people getting together to “share some craic”, Belfast Mill Irish Pub, winner of Charlotte Magazine’s 2017 “Best of the Best – Irish Pub”, is definitely your local neighborhood pub in Uptown Charlotte.
We are a small Irish pub located in historic Brevard Court, across from Romare Bearden Park and BB&T ballpark, also just blocks from Panthers Stadium and Spectrum Arena. We embrace the ``hole in the wall`` vibe that people say that we have. We keep things simple, but good, which is why you will feel like a regular as soon as you arrive. We have a great selection of Irish Draught Beers and 30+ Irish Whiskeys. We are located in a very unique and historic location in Uptown Charlotte's 'French Quarter', so come check us out for yourself.
We opened on June 29th 2011. We are a true Irish pub and are here because we love doing what we do. Our name came from the song 'The Belfast Mill', which is about a mill that closed down during a depression and we figured that as we were trying to start a business during a depression and as the song is one of my favorites, that we could in a way, revive the Belfast Mill. Everyone is welcome here. We are an Irish pub with a Northern Ireland name and contrary to some opinions expressed, the name is just that, a name. Come, have fun and enjoy yourself!
